Our venue can accommodate up to 150 guests; however, we can host up to 200 guests with special permitting and accommodations. 

Our rental fee is between $750 and $9,750 for events with up to 150 guests, plus state and local taxes, and depends on your event date, size, and duration. Pricing may be higher for events exceeding 150 guests, as they require special permitting and accommodations. Request a quote!

Yes! While our barn is climate controlled, we still offer up to 30% off January, February, July, August, and December.

Visit our Request a Quote page to get the ball rolling! If you accept our quote, we will send you the contract and next steps to secure your date and finalize your reservation.

To reserve your dates, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at contract signing and applied toward the total rental fee. In addition, a fully refundable security deposit of 20% is required at contract signing and returned within seven (7) days after your event, assuming no major damages, or upon cancellation.

The remaining balance shall be paid in full nine months in advance of your event. If your event date is within nine months, the full amount and security deposit are due at contract signing.

Please understand it is difficult for us to rebook your dates without sufficient advance notice, as most events book a year or more in advance. We highly recommend you get cancellation insurance in your event insurance policy, to cover for unforeseen events. The security deposit is fully refundable. Any remaining fees paid are non-refundable unless we are able to rebook your event date.

Yes! You can rent Big Oak Sunday-Thursday at a discounted rate. Please visit our Pricing page for details or Request a Quote. Weekends are reserved for Friday-Sunday events.

Yes! In fact, you must bring your own vendors. We offer the venue only, including amenities listed in The Space page. Please visit our Area Vendors page for a curated list of local teams that can support your event.

Lots! You will have full access to the barn, corncrib bar, trail and unfenced areas, linens, tables, chairs, restrooms, firepits, games, decor, and more. For weekend events, you will also have access to the Manor House, but the Manor House is also available for weekday events upon request. Please visit our The Space page to see what is included.

We do not offer wedding planning, catering, or other services. To get you started, please visit our Area Vendors page. You have full access to our venue and all amenities listed in The Space.

You will need to purchase event liability insurance. If other event related permits are required, we will point you in the right direction and provide contacts.

Yes! At Big Oak you have choices of where to hold your ceremony and reception. For guests of around 110 people, events can be held inside the beautiful barn upstairs, still enjoying scenic country views through the barn doors. Catering and lounging can be held on the first floor along with our gorgeous restroom facilities. For larger events, we will provide a beautiful tented area over our 60x40' mountain view patio, which is connected to the first floor of the barn. This provides comfortable indoor/outdoor space and flow between the ceremony, reception, caterers, lounge, and restrooms.
